About 510 years ago, an ancestor ASABA Yakuro Yukitada visited here in order to found a temple of Shuzenji Soto sect. As a temple keeper, Shuzenji ASABA was a guesthouse kept by a temple in front of the gate. Since then, ASABA has been inherited by a family line. In Shuzenji mountain valley, we are giving guests a hearty welcome with hot springs, curtains of trees, murmuring of a stream, and Birdcalls.
